Job Summary

Resource analyst\r\n \r\nA Resource Analyst is responsible for planning, analyzing, forecasting, and optimizing the utilization of human resources across projects, programs, or business units. The role supports effective delivery by ensuring the right skills are available at the right time while controlling costs and capacity. \r\n \r\nKey Roles \r\n1. Resource Planning & Forecasting \r\n• Develop short-term and long-term resource plans aligned with project and business demand. \r\n• Forecast resource requirements based on project pipelines, schedules, and skill needs. \r\n• Support annual and quarterly workforce planning exercises. \r\n• Identify future skill gaps and capacity constraints. \r\n \r\n2. Resource Allocation & Optimization \r\n• Allocate resources to projects based on priority, availability, and skill fit. \r\n• Balance workloads to avoid over-allocation or under-utilization. \r\n• Support project managers in resolving resource conflicts. \r\n• Recommend re-deployment strategies to maximize utilization. \r\n \r\n3. Utilization & Capacity Management \r\n• Track and analyze resource utilization (billable vs non-billable). \r\n \r\n• Monitor capacity against demand at individual, team, and portfolio levels. \r\n• Highlight risks related to under-utilization, burnout, or bottlenecks. \r\n• Drive actions to improve overall resource efficiency. \r\n \r\n4. Reporting & Analytics \r\n• Prepare regular dashboards and reports on: \r\no Resource utilization o Capacity vs demand o Hiring needs \r\no Attrition and bench strength \r\n• Provide insights and trends to senior management and PMO. \r\n• Support data-driven decision-making through scenario analysis. \r\n \r\n5. Stakeholder Collaboration \r\n• Work closely with Project Managers, Program Managers, HR, and Finance. \r\n• Support hiring and onboarding plans with demand justification. \r\n• Align resource plans with budgeting and financial forecasts. \r\n• Act as a single point of contact for resource-related queries. \r\n \r\n6. Process Improvement & Governance \r\n• Establish and maintain resource management processes and standards. \r\n• Ensure compliance with organizational and PMO guidelines. \r\n• Improve tools, templates, and methodologies for resource tracking. \r\n• Support audits and governance reviews related to workforce planning. \r\n \r\n7. Tool & System Management \r\n• Maintain and update resource management tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, Power BI, Clarity, SAP, Planview, etc.). \r\n• Ensure accuracy and integrity of resource data. \r\n• Automate reporting where possible to improve efficiency. \r\n \r\nKey Skills & Competencies \r\n• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills \r\n• Advanced Excel / data analysis capabilities \r\n• Understanding of project/program management concepts \r\n• Stakeholder communication and influencing skills \r\n• Attention to detail and data accuracy \r\n• Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-project environments \r\n\r\n

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Adhere To Quality Standards And Regulatory Requirements By Implementing Company Policies In All Support Operations And Project Execution Tasks.
2. Provide Advanced Technical Support For Complex Incidents Escalated By Analysts By Performing Root Cause Analysis And Implementing Effective Solutions To Resolve Technical And Security Issues.
3. Engage In Value-Adding Activities Such As Updating And Managing The Knowledge Base, Training New Team Members, And Coaching Analysts To Enhance Overall Team Performance.
4. Resolve Complex Support Tickets Within Agreed Slas By Collaborating With Cross-Functional Support Teams To Ensure Seamless Operations And Maintain A Strong Security Posture.
5. Enhance Customer Experience And Achieve High Csat Scores By Ensuring First Call Resolution, Minimizing Rejected Resolutions, Reducing Case Reopenings, And Proactively Mitigating Security Threats.
