Job Summary

Role SummaryWe are seeking an experienced L3 SharePoint Administrator with deep expertise in SharePointOn-Premise and/or SharePoint Online, PowerShell automation, and advanced troubleshooting.The candidate will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing enterprise-levelSharePoint environments while providing escalated support for complex issues.Key ResponsibilitiesSharePoint Administration• Manage, configure, and support SharePoint On-Prem (2013/2016/2019) and/orSharePoint Online (M365) environments.• Perform farm-level administration, including services configuration, patches, CUupdates, server health checks, and capacity planning.• Manage Site Collections, Web Applications, Content Databases, and serviceapplications (Search, UPS, BCS, Workflow Manager, etc.).• Execute and oversee SharePoint migrations (On-Prem → Online, version upgrades,third-party tools like ShareGate/Metalogix).• Configure and maintain permissions, governance policies, workflows, compliancesettings, and security controls.PowerShell Automation• Develop, maintain, and optimize PowerShell scripts for administration, reporting,monitoring, and automation tasks.• Automate repetitive SharePoint/O365 tasks (site provisioning, user permission audits,backups, log parsing, etc.).• Troubleshoot and debug PowerShell scripts and perform performance optimization.L3 Support & Operations• Provide tier-3 support for complex SharePoint issues escalated from L1/L2 teams.• Perform root-cause analysis, resolve performance bottlenecks, and handle advancedtroubleshooting across the platform.• Manage integration with other enterprise tools (Teams, OneDrive, MS Graph API, AzureAD, Exchange, etc.).Security & Compliance • Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory security standards.• Implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies, including disaster recovery(DR) documentation.• Perform auditing, monitoring, and reporting on site usage, permissions, and contentlifecycle.Collaboration & Documentation• Work closely with platform owners, developers, network and security teams.• Maintain detailed SOPs, runbooks, architecture diagrams, governancedocumentation, and incident reports.• Assist with training and guiding L1/L2 teams.Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical Skills• 6+ years of hands-on SharePoint administration (On-Prem and/or Online).• Strong proficiency in PowerShell and automation practices.• Deep understanding of:o SharePoint architectureo Service applications (Search, UPA, BCS, MMS, etc.)o IIS, SQL Server basics (DB maintenance, logs, backups)o Claim-based authenticationo Azure AD, Conditional Access• Experience with M365 admin center, Exchange Online, Teams, and OneDrive is aplus.• Familiarity with tools such as ShareGate, Metalogix, SPDocKit, ULS Viewer.Soft Skills• Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.• Strong communication and ability to manage stakeholders.• Ability to work independently and handle high-severity incidents.Preferred Certifications• Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator / Messaging Administrator• Microsoft Certified: PowerShell or Automation Specialist (advantage)• ITIL Foundation (optional) Key Competencies• Expertise in large enterprise SharePoint environments• Strong ownership mindset• Ability to work in fast-paced, mission-critical environments• Excellent troubleshooting and scripting capabilities

Key Responsibilities

1. Adhere To Quality Standards, Regulatory Requirements, And Company Policies While Managing Sharepoint Environments And Operations.
2. Provide Advanced Support For Complex Incidents Escalated By Analysts, Performing Root Cause Analysis And Implementing Solutions To Resolve Technical And Security Issues In Sharepoint.
3. Manage And Update The Knowledge Base Related To Sharepoint Administration, Contributing To Knowledge Transfer And Training Initiatives For New Team Members.
4. Resolve Complex Tickets Related To Sharepoint Within Agreed Slas, Collaborating With Cross-Functional Support Teams To Ensure Seamless Operations And Maintain Security Posture.
5. Ensure A Positive Customer Experience And High Csat Through Effective First Call Resolution Strategies, Minimizing Rejected Resolutions And Re-Open Cases While Addressing And Mitigating Potential Security Threats.

Skill Requirements

1. Advanced Proficiency In Sharepoint Administration, Including Site Collection Management, User Permissions, And Security Configurations.
2. Strong Understanding Of Troubleshooting Methodologies And Root Cause Analysis Techniques In A Sharepoint Environment.
3. Familiarity With Knowledge Management Practices And Training Methodologies.
4. Excellent Communication Skills And Ability To Provide Technical Guidance To Both Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders.
