Job Summary

The role is responsible for supporting and administering Windows workloads on Microsoft Azure IaaS, with a strong focus on infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management using Terraform. The administrator will ensure stable, secure, and compliant cloud operations, support day‑to‑day operational activities, and contribute to standardization and automation initiatives as part of DFS Support & Operations.

Key Responsibilities

 Administer and support Azure IaaS environments including virtual machines, storage, networking, and related Windows services. Provision, modify, and manage Azure resources using Terraform in line with approved architectures and standards. Handle incidents, service requests, and changes related to Azure IaaS and Windows platforms, ensuring SLA adherence. Perform troubleshooting for VM, OS, connectivity, performance, and access‑related issues in Azure environments. Support patching, backup, DR, security hardening, and compliance activities for Azure workloads. Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and configuration standards, and support audits and governance reviews.

Skill Requirements

Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure IaaS (VMs, VNets, NSGs, storage, load balancers). Good experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management. Solid knowledge of Windows Server administration in cloud environments. Understanding of Azure security, monitoring, backup, and DR concepts. Familiarity with ITSM processes (incident, problem, change) in enterprise operations. Exposure to scripting (PowerShell) and automation is preferred.

Other Requirements

Ability to work in a 24x7 support environment with on‑call and escalation support as required. Experience working with global delivery teams and distributed stakeholders. Strong ownership, communication, and documentation skills. Willingness to continuously upskill on Azure native services and infrastructure automation.
