Job Title: Technical Analyst
Role Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Analyst to support Master Data Management activities through SAP transaction execution. The role involves processing customer-requested master data updates, corrections, and cleanup activities by executing predefined SAP transactions and ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with established business procedures.
The Technical Analyst will work closely with business users, master data teams, and project stakeholders to execute data maintenance activities, validate updates, and maintain proper documentation of all changes performed within SAP
Key Responsibilities
SAP Master Data Cleanup & Maintenance
- Execute SAP transactions to perform customer, vendor, material, and other master data maintenance activities.
- Process customer-provided requests for data creation, modification, correction, deactivation, and cleanup.
- Validate input parameters and supporting documentation prior to executing updates.
- Ensure data updates are completed accurately and within agreed service levels.
Data Quality & Validation
- Review master data records for completeness, consistency, and accuracy.
- Identify data discrepancies, duplicates, and quality issues and perform corrective actions as per defined procedures.
- Validate processed updates and reconcile results against customer requirements.
- Escalate exceptions, inconsistencies, and system-related issues to the appropriate teams.
Transaction Processing & Compliance
- Execute SAP transactions following approved business rules, standard operating procedures, and governance guidelines.
- Maintain audit trails and documentation for all master data changes.
- Adhere to data governance, security, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure proper segregation of duties and authorization controls are followed.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with customer teams to clarify update requests and data requirements.
- Provide status updates on request processing and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with Master Data, SAP Support, and Business teams to resolve data-related concerns.
