Job Summary

  • Conduct the design, development, and validation of mechanical components of Caterpillar Machines and Engines using Analytical tools such as Ansys WB, Hypermesh, Abaqus and the CAD techniques with Creo. Identify problems with existing designs and devise methods and approaches to solve problems by applying knowledge of engineering.
  • Conduct modeling of heavy equipment parts and assemblies relating to power train, hydraulics and evaluate product concepts to identify potential problems.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
