Job Summary:

Looking for an experienced Senior Automation Test Lead with strong hands‑on expertise in Selenium with Python, SmartBear TestComplete, ReadyAPI/SOAPUI, and Playwright. The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and execution of automation frameworks, ensure high-quality deliverables, and drive test automation strategies across different projects.

Experience Requirements:

• 9+ years of hands-on automation experience across multiple tools and technologies.
• Strong expertise in:
• Playwright (Python preferred)
• Selenium WebDriver with Python
• SmartBear TestComplete (desktop & UI automation)
• ReadyAPI/SOAPUI (API automation)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

 Skill Requirements:

• Strong hands‑on expertise in Selenium with Python, SmartBear TestComplete, ReadyAPI/SOAPUI, and Playwright
• Good understanding and experience with: OOP concepts, Git / version control, CI/CD pipelines, BDD/TDD frameworks (pytest, behave, robot framework, or similar)
• Good understanding and experience with REST/SOAP API testing and SQL & no-SQL database validation.
• Exposure to cloud-based testing solutions (Azure, AWS, BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
• Hands-on experience with test management tools (Azure DevOps (preferably) , Jira, ALM, qTest, Zephyr).
• Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC and Agile Methodologies.
• Experience with functional, regression, integration and E2E testing.
• Experience on creating / developing Automation Framework ,Test strategy, test plans, test cases, and Automated test-scripts.
• Experience in Agile Project.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical and documentation skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• High level of professionalism, energy and sense of urgency to “make things happen”
• Strong level of customer focus and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end‑to‑end automation planning, framework design, and execution across web, API, and desktop applications.
• Define automation scope, strategy, effort estimation, and resourcing for new and ongoing projects.
• Drive continuous improvement in automation processes, code quality, and overall QA engineering maturity.
• Architect and enhance scalable, reusable test automation frameworks using:
• Selenium + Python for web automation
• Playwright for modern end‑to‑end browser automation
• SmartBear TestComplete for desktop and functional testing
• ReadyAPI/SOAPUI for REST/SOAP API test automation
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Develop custom utilities, modular libraries, and reusable components to accelerate automation coverage.
• Implement page object models, data-driven testing, and other best practices for maintainability.
• Plan, execute, and manage automated test suites as part of CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for automation failures and provide quick resolutions.
• Ensure traceability, coverage, and quality through well-documented test scripts and reports.
• Maintain test plans, automation reports, execution dashboards, and defect triage documentation.
• Prepare weekly status reports and participate in sprint ceremonies.
• Work closely with developers, product owners, and manual QA teams for requirement understanding and early test involvement.
• Mentor junior automation engineers, review code, and enforce best practices.
• Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders and leadership.
