Senior Automation Test Lead Embedded

Job Summary

The Senior Test Lead will be responsible for overseeing the testing activities related to Testing Tools and Test Automation (EMB), selenium, java. The primary objective will be to ensure the quality and efficiency of testing processes and deliverables.

: Task Description: As a Microsoft Azure Cloud enthusiast, you possess a good understanding of cloud-based software testing. You should be able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and organize your workload effectively under pressure. While understanding German will be beneficial due to the presence of technical terms that may not translate well.
Required Technical Skills:
4–7 years of hands-on experience in backend test automation, ideally in cloud-native or migration projects.
Advanced proficiency in C#/.NET, including writing clean, maintainable test code and leveraging mocking frameworks.
Deep experience in API testing using tools like Postman, RestSharp, SpecFlow or Bruno.
Solid understanding of unit testing frameworks (e.g., xUnit, NUnit, MSTest) and test-driven development (TDD).
Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD platforms.
Familiarity with SQL Server, including writing queries for validation and test data setup.
Exposure to event-driven architectures and Kafka, with the ability to test asynchronous flows.
Experience testing in containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker) and cloud-native setups.
Knowledge of load testing, integration testing, and system testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6, Selenium Grid).
Ability to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and procedures for testing tools and test automation projects
2. Lead and manage the testing team to execute test cases, report defects, and ensure timely delivery of testing milestones
3. Utilize testing tools and test automation (emb), selenium, java to automate test cases and enhance test efficiency
4. Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure alignment on testing objectives and priorities
5. Analyze test results, track defects, and provide recommendations for improvements in the testing process
6. Stay updated on the latest testing tools and test automation trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement in testing practices

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in testing tools and test automation (emb), selenium, java
2. Strong experience in developing and executing test scripts using selenium and java
3. Handson experience with emb (electronic measurement bulletin) for testing purposes
4. Solid understanding of test automation frameworks and methodologies
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
6. Strong communication and leadership abilities to effectively lead a testing team
7. Ability to work collaboratively with other stakeholders to achieve testing goals

Other Requirements

1.Relevant certifications in Testing Tools and Test Automation (EMB), selenium, java are a plus
