Senior Automation Tester - Cloud ETL, DW Automation

Job Summary

The Senior Automation Tester will be responsible for conducting automation testing activities related to Cloud, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), and Data Warehouse automation. The role involves developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of software systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement automation strategies for cloud based applications and systems.
2. Create and execute automated test scripts for etl processes and data warehouse systems.
3. Collaborate within team to identify automation testing needs and requirements.
4. Perform functional, regression, and performance testing in cloud environments.
5. Troubleshoot automation test failures and identify root causes for timely resolution.
6. Maintain and enhance automated test frameworks and tools for efficient test execution.
7. Document test results, track defects, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in cloud automation testing tools and technologies.
2. Experience in automation testing of etl (extract, transform, load) processes.
3. Strong knowledge of data warehouse automation concepts and tools.
4. Familiarity with agile methodologies and ci/cd pipelines.
5. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
7. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required.

Other Requirements

1.Relevant certifications in Cloud Automation Testing, ETL, or Data Warehouse automation are a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
