Job Summary

We would expect strong automation fundamentals, a clear understanding of core testing concepts, and practical hands-on experience across UI, API, and database testing, rather than expertise limited to a single area.

Experience Range: 8 to 10 Years

Skill Requirements

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong experience in UI Automation using Selenium or Playwright.
  • Strong hands-on experience in API Automation using Rest Assured or similar frameworks and good understanding of API testing fundamentals, including HTTP methods, status codes, request/response validation, authentication mechanisms, and API testing best practices.
  • Experience in Database Testing/Automation, including writing and validating SQL queries.
  • Strong programming skills in Java or Typescript.
  • Experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with source control tools such as Git.
  • Understanding of and experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to independently design, develop, and troubleshoot automated test solutions.

 

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
  • Exposure to Microservices-based applications.
  • Experience working with MongoDB and other NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and test automation best practices.
