Job Summary

The Senior Automation Tester plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications by leveraging automation tools and methodologies. This position involves creating and executing test cases to validate software functionality, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and meeting client requirements. The Senior Automation Tester collaborates closely with development teams and stakeholders to enhance testing processes and deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Create And Review Test Cases Using Python And Selenium Based On Functional Specifications And Software Requirement Specification Documents, Ensuring Comprehensive Coverage Of Application Features.
2. Execute Automated Tests For Software Functionality As Per The Test Plan And Respective Test Cases, Utilizing Python Scripts To Identify Defects And Ensure Software Reliability.
3. Contribute To The Development Of Test Plans And Strategies By Providing Insights Based On Assigned Work And Previous Testing Experiences, Ensuring Alignment With Project Objectives.
4. Coordinate With Cross-Functional Teams For Discussions Regarding Testing Progress, And Interact With Clients To Provide Updates And Gather Feedback On Testing Outcomes.
5. Schedule And Manage Testing Tasks Efficiently, Documenting Progress And Reporting Results To Stakeholders To Ensure Transparency And Effective Communication.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency In Python Programming And Experience In Test Automation Using Frameworks Like Selenium.
2. Solid Understanding Of Software Testing Methodologies And Best Practices For Functional And Regression Testing.
3. Familiarity With The Microservices Architecture And Its Implications For Testing Strategies.
