Job Summary
The Senior Automation Tester plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications by leveraging automation tools and methodologies. This position involves creating and executing test cases to validate software functionality, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and meeting client requirements. The Senior Automation Tester collaborates closely with development teams and stakeholders to enhance testing processes and deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
3+ years of experience in automation testing using Python with Playwright or Selenium/Java with Playwright
• Expertise in designing and implementing automation frameworks
• Strong programming skills with solid understanding of OOP/OOD and interface design
• Familiarity with web services (XML, REST, SOAP)
• In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies, processes, and tools
• Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration; Jenkins preferred
• Experiences (4-5 yrs) for manual testing:
o System testing (not pure SW centric)
o Related domain (Semi, industrial automation) – clear no for web based, banking, healthcare etc
o Min 3 years in same domain
o Engineering background and not MCA/MSc
