Job Summary

The Senior Automation Tester will be responsible for implementing automation testing frameworks, strategies, and scripts using software testing tools like Jira and Python. They will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of software products through automated testing processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute automated test scripts using python for functional, regression, and performance testing.
2. Collaborate within team to gather requirements, create test plans, and identify test scenarios.
3. Utilize jira for test management, defect tracking, and reporting of test results.
4. Analyze test results and work closely with developers to isolate, debug, and resolve issues.
5. Participate in test automation code reviews and provide feedback to improve overall test coverage.
6. Stay updated on industry best practices, tools, and trends in automation testing to enhance testing processes.

Skill Requirements

1. Experience in software testing methodologies and practices.
2. Familiarity with using jira for test management and defect tracking.
3. Strong knowledge of python programming for automation testing.
4. Solid understanding of test automation frameworks and tools.
5. Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
6. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Other Requirements

1.Any relevant certifications in automation testing tools or Python programming would be a plus.
