Job Summary

Testing fundamentals

  • SIT methodology and cross-system integration testing (e.g. lifecycle → lending → settlement chains).
  • Test case design, execution, and defect lifecycle in ALM Octane.
  • Ability to validate real TRBK transactions, batch jobs (STBASETT, ZBS_SC1_SETTLE_RUN_PP) and multi-system interface outcomes — not just screen-level checks.

Automation (core differentiator)

  • UFT / Playwright / Selenium — GUI automation, VBScript, data-driven/keyword-driven frameworks; understanding of transaction recording and object handling.
  • API automation — REST/SOAP with RestAssured, Postman, or SoapUI; essential for the interface-heavy TRBK landscape and for stable regression that doesn't depend on fragile GUI paths.
  • CI/CD — Harness pipeline configuration (your nightly trigger), Git version control, and orchestration of overnight/scheduled regression runs.
  • SAP-aware automation — familiarity with SAP GUI scripting; exposure to Tricentis Tosca, Worksoft Certify, or SAP CBTA/eCATT is valuable, as pure UFT can struggle with SAP GUI stability at regression scale.
  • Scripting in Java / Python / JavaScript for framework extension and utilities.
