Senior Azure API Technical Specialist

Job Summary

API Management Expertise

  • Strong hands-on experience with Apigee X (or Apigee Edge)
  • Deep understanding of:
    • API proxy design
    • Policies (security, traffic management, mediation)
    • API product configuration
    • Developer portals and API lifecycle management
  • Experience designing RESTful APIs (OpenAPI/Swagger)

Azure Integration & Development

  • Proven experience with:
    • Azure Function Apps (Node.js, Java, or Python preferred)
    • Event-driven and serverless architectures
  • Familiarity with:
    • Azure API Management (APIM)
    • Azure Key Vault
    • Azure Storage (tables, blobs for lookup/reference data)
    • Azure Service Bus / Event Grid
    • Azure Front Door
  • Strong experience in implementing data transformation and mapping logic

Integration Architecture

  • Solid understanding of integration patterns (sync/async, pub-sub, orchestration)
  • Experience in designing decoupled, scalable API-led architectures
  • Knowledge of security best practices (OAuth2, mTLS, certificates, secrets management)

Language

  • Fluent in English (mandatory) – both written and spoken
  • Ability to communicate effectively with international and cross-functional teams

  • Excellent communication skills in English (technical and business stakeholders)

1. Architect And Design Comprehensive Solutions For Product And Project Delivery Using Azure Api Technologies, Ensuring Alignment With Client Needs And Industry Standards.
2. Serve As A Subject Matter Expert In Azure Api, Providing Strategic Insights And Guidance To Enhance Project Outcomes And Team Capabilities.
3. Conduct Ongoing Research And Integrate New Technologies Into Solutions To Ensure Current Offerings Meet Quality Standards And Client Expectations.
4. Facilitate The Development Of A Skilled Workforce In Azure Api Through Conducting Interviews, Leading Training Sessions, And Providing Mentorship To Team Members.
5. Gather And Analyze Specifications To Deliver Tailored Solutions To Clients, Leveraging Expertise In Azure Api And Related Domains.
6. Drive Competency Development By Envisioning And Articulating Strategic Propositions, Including Building Collateral And Creating Whitepapers Based On Market Trend Analysis.
7. Recommend And Implement Client Value Creation Initiatives While Applying Industry Best Practices For Azure Api Technologies To Enhance Service Delivery.
