Job Summary
Role : Technical Program Manager — Unified Voucher Experience
TEX: 8 Years
About the Role
We're looking for a technically grounded, delivery-focused Technical Program Manager to drive strategy and ensure execution across the Unified Voucher Store initiative — a high-visibility program modernizing how enterprise clients purchase and manage exam vouchers across Pearson VUE's certification portfolio.
This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding the strategic role of this existing, legacy product, and for working with others to refine the vision for near-term and longer-term development of the product. This candidate will also be responsible for coordination of work across three active tracks;: Experience Design, Training, and Technology Build. They will need to identify dependencies and clear blockers. They will need to keep stakeholders informed and aligned throughout the duration of this initiative. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the outcome of this initiative, ensuring migration of the voucher store from a legacy system (VTS) to MindHub/Kibo. An expected result is a substantially improved experience for the enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities
ROLE IN BRIEF:
- End-to-end delivery of the Unified Voucher Store engagement across Design, Build, and Client Communication tracks
- Understanding the technical complexity (payments, e-commerce integration, API dependencies) well enough to problem-solve and drive decisions
- Stakeholder coordination across multiple cross-functional leads, none of whom report into this role
- Producing and maintaining the core alignment artifacts — project plan, status updates, risk/dependency tracking, and a PRD
ROLE IN DETAIL:
What you will be responsible for:
- Documented near-term product design.
- Longer term product design, also documented.
- Establishing a delivery plan for the near-term product.
- Day-to-day delivery leadership across a multi-track program with cross-functional stakeholders in Product, Engineering (BI, integrations), Finance, Sales (ELS/Guest), and CX
- Tracking and resolving critical-path dependencies — platform migration sequencing, BI reporting readiness, and client onboarding waves
- Product oversight of adjacent workstreams including the ISC2/B2B voucher fulfillment fix, the Skilling Asset Manager (SAM) expansion, and voucher data feed enhancements
- Translating technical constraints (API integrations, MindHub platform limits, fulfillment automation) into clear options and tradeoffs for leadership
- Maintaining a running project brief, RAID log, and milestone dashboard across workstreams
Skill Requirements
- 5–8 years in technical program management or delivery, ideally in B2B e-commerce, fintech, or SaaS platforms
- Fluency in platform migrations, API-based integrations, and back-end fulfillment systems. Comfort with getting into technical weeds and explaining next steps in simple terms.
- Strong stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive-level communication
- Experience driving programs without direct engineering authority — you influence, align, and unblock
- Bonus: familiarity with voucher/licensing platforms (MindHub, Kibo, BigCommerce) or edtech/credentialing ecosystems
