Job Summary
The Product Specialist will support market-facing operations, enablement, adoption, and continuous improvement for Content Management platforms. The role focuses on Contenful CMS and Bynder DAM, helping content co-workers operate effectively in new headless ways of working. The Product Specialist acts as a bridge between market users, Product Owners, engineering teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure platform changes are understood, adopted, and reflected in the backlog.
Key Responsibilities
Market Support & Platform Operations
- Provide market-facing operational support for CMS and DAM platforms.
- Support content co-workers in day-to-day use of Content Management tools and workflows.
- Capture recurring user issues, operational pain points, and improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate with Product Owners and engineering teams to ensure user needs are visible and addressed through the appropriate delivery channels.
Tool Training & User Enablement
- Deliver training and enablement for CMS and DAM tools.
- Support onboarding of users to new platform capabilities and headless content workflows.
- Create or maintain practical support materials such as quick guides, FAQs, process notes, and usage recommendations.
- Help improve user confidence, consistency, and efficiency in content creation and management activities.
Backlog Coordination & Requirement Support
- Gather feedback, needs, and enhancement requests from market users and content co-workers.
- Support Product Owners by translating operational feedback into clear backlog inputs.
- Assist in backlog refinement by providing user context, business impact, and market-readiness considerations.
- Track open questions, support needs, and adoption blockers that may influence roadmap delivery.
Change Management & Headless Rollout Support
- Support change management activities for CMS and DAM platform changes.
- Enable co-workers to adopt new headless content ways of working.
- Support communications, readiness, and adoption activities linked to platform releases or process changes.
- Help markets transition from legacy content practices to modern Content Management workflows.
Co-worker Coaching & Adoption
- Coach content co-workers on platform usage, content workflows, and headless rollout practices.
- Provide practical guidance to support consistent and effective use of CMS/DAM capabilities.
- Identify training gaps and work with Product Owners or relevant stakeholders to address them.
- Promote continuous improvement in how markets create, manage, and publish content.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Software Engineers, Data teams, Engineering Managers, and market stakeholders.
- Act as a user-focused liaison between product delivery teams and market-facing teams.
- Contribute to cross-functional workstreams involving business and marketing and other stakeholder where required.
- Support team continuity and domain knowledge retention across delivery cycles.
Skill Requirements
- Senior-level experience in Product Specialist, Product Support, Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, or similar market-facing digital platform role.
- Experience supporting CMS and/or Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms.
- Strong experience in user support, tool training, enablement, and adoption activities.
- Experience with backlog coordination, requirement gathering, and stakeholder feedback management.
- Understanding of headless CMS concepts and content workflows.
- Experience supporting change management in digital product or platform transformation environments.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Business-level English communication skills.
Other Requirements
- Experience in large-scale CMS/DAM rollout or transformation programmes.
- Familiarity with omnichannel content operations and market-facing content workflows.
- Exposure to content insights, analytics, or AI-enabled content capabilities.
- Experience creating training documentation, user guides, process materials, or enablement assets.
