Job Description: Senior Business Analyst –Mortgages
Experience
• 10+ years of relevant experience in Retail Banking with strong exposure to Mortgages and Lending.
Domain & Functional Expertise
• Deep understanding of end-to-end Loan/Mortgage lifecycle: Loan Origination, Credit Assessment, Disbursements, Securitization, Account Opening, Servicing, Collections.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks: KYC, AML, Basel III, KWG, GwG, SAG.
• Proven experience in banking process analysis, optimization, and re-engineering.
Requirements Engineering & Delivery
• Extensive experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, elaboration, documentation, and communication.
• Strong stakeholder management and hands-on collaboration with business users and IT teams.
• Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum delivery models using Jira and Confluence.
Technology Affinity
• Strong affinity with IT and digital systems.
• Working knowledge or exposure to Java, XML, SQL, and OpenShift environments.
AI & Automation (Mandatory)
• Practical experience in applying AI/GenAI to simplify and automate mortgage and lending processes.
• Experience with AI-enabled document processing (OCR/NLP), credit analysis support, KYC/AML automation, and requirements documentation.
• Ability to identify and drive AI use cases that reduce manual effort, improve turnaround time, and enhance compliance in regulated environments.
Communication & Language Skills
• Excellent proficiency in English and German (C2 level – mandatory).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with senior business and technology stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
2. To evaluate & recommend different appropriate product solutions based on customer requirements.
3. To identify and facilitate customer to implement organizational changes required for effective business product Implementation
4. To design and conduct solution workshop(s) to get early buy-in from the relevant stakeholders and thereby also identify additional opportunities to engage with the client
5. To develop and guide others for their career progression
6. To continually update oneself for developing self; contribute to business cases| market collaterals etc.
