Senior Consultant

Job Summary

The Senior SAP Analytics Cloud Consultant will provide Level 2 support for the customer's SAP SAC landscape while contributing to dashboard development, analytics enhancements, planning model improvements, and project-driven initiatives. The consultant will support both operational stability and business transformation activities within the analytics function.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Support

  • Provide support for SAP Analytics Cloud dashboards, stories, applications, and planning models.
  • Resolve incidents, service requests, and platform-related issues within SLA.
  • Troubleshoot data refresh, connectivity, security, and performance issues.
  • Support user provisioning and role management activities.
  • Monitor platform health and reporting availability.
  • Participate in major incident resolution and operational reviews.

Enhancement & Development Support

  • Develop and enhance stories, dashboards, and visualizations.
  • Create and modify SAC models and planning structures.
  • Support development of calculations, measures, KPIs, and business metrics.
  • Configure and enhance data acquisition and live connections.
  • Support planning processes, data actions, and allocations.
  • Participate in analytics modernization initiatives.

Project & Change Activities

  • Support implementation of new SAC reporting and planning solutions.
  • Participate in requirement gathering and design workshops.
  • Prepare technical configurations and system documentation.
  • Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production releases.
  • Work closely with BW, BO, and business teams to deliver analytics solutions.

Continuous Improvement

  • Optimize dashboard performance and user experience.
  • Improve reporting standards and analytics governance.
  • Support automation and self-service analytics initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain operational documentation and knowledge repositories.
  • Contribute to service improvement and innovation programs.

Other Requirements

Experience & Qualifications

  • Typically 4-7 years of analytics experience with at least 2-3 years of hands-on SAC experience.
  • Experience supporting and developing enterprise analytics solutions.
  • Experience delivering enhancements, dashboards, and planning model improvements.
  • Exposure to SAP BW integrated reporting environments.
  • Strong presentation, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • SAP Analytics Cloud certification required.
