Senior Design - Component Cost Estimation, Supplier Mgmt

Job Summary

The Senior Designer will be responsible for Component Cost Estimation, Supplier Collaboration and Negotiation, Supplier Development & Management in close collaboration with various stakeholders. The role involves driving cost-efficient and effective component designs while optimizing supplier engagement and development.

Key Responsibilities

1. Estimate costs associated with components to support design decisions and supplier negotiations.
2. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness of components.
3. Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
4. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
5. Manage the performance and development of suppliers to meet quality and delivery requirements.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in component cost estimation techniques and tools.
2. Strong negotiation and collaboration skills with suppliers.
3. Experience in supplier development and management practices.
4. Knowledge of industry best practices related to component design and cost optimization.
5. Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
