Job Summary

The Senior Design Lead plays a pivotal role in overseeing multiple design teams, establishing organizational design standards, and fostering innovation in the design process. This position is crucial for ensuring that design efforts significantly impact the achievement of business objectives, leading to enhanced user experiences and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Utilize Expertise In 2D Drawing And Detailing To Create And Refine Design Specifications That Ensure Software And Products Are User-Friendly, Intuitive, And Aligned With User Expectations, Thus Contributing To Seamless User Experiences.
2. Lead And Mentor A Team Of Designers In Executing High-Quality Design Solutions, Ensuring Alignment With Organizational Goals And Adherence To Established Design Standards.
3. Develop And Present Compelling Design Concepts That Shape The Overall Design Vision And Strategy, Effectively Communicating Ideas To Stakeholders.
4. Research And Analyze Industry Trends And Emerging Technologies Relevant To 2D Design To Drive Innovation And Maintain Excellence In Design Practices.

Skill Requirements

1. Advanced Proficiency In 2D Drawing And Detailing Tools Such As Autocad And Adobe Illustrator.
2. Solid Understanding Of Design Principles, User Experience Design, And Best Practices In Leading Design Projects.
3. Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills To Effectively Convey Design Concepts And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.

Other Requirements

1. Optional But Valuable Certifications Include Certified Professional In Design (Cpd) Or Adobe Certified Expert (Ace) In Relevant Software.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
