Key Qualifications:
- Hands-on skill in at least one of the programming languages: C/C++/ObjC/Swift, and scripting languages: python/lua/bash
- Good English writing/oral and interpersonal skill
- Able to on-site work in factory during development builds
- Previous experience on factory testing is a plus
Description
This teams software supports factories and processes. Creating software systems that perform at a high level in this environment requires understanding how software interacts with an overall system and how to collaboratively solve problems. The ideal candidate is someone that:
- With great passion and proactive;
- Design SW to control the test station/HW, data acquisition and processing algorithm;
- Write, debug, and integrate tests for new silicons and product features;
- On-site support during product development builds;
- Triage and diagnose issues with a multi-functional team from diverse engineering backgrounds;
- Work with teams both internally and external to define better solutions and deliver the software before the build event;
- Bring up, debug and mature the test system during NPI build cycle;
- Communicates and present to management in term of strategies, data and status.
Education & Experience
MS/BS degree in CE, CS, EE or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience as SW developer/System engineer/Embedded engineer, preferably on test platform development, data acquisition, instrumentation development.
