Senior Design Lead - Casting, CAD Software

Job Summary

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): ·       Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering ·       Experience in aircraft structure, materials and properties, design criteria and release processes with 3D CAD modeling. ·       Must have experience working in Nacelle Structures for Commercial Airplanes. ·       Experience with geometric dimensioning and Stack up tolerance. ·       Must be willing to stretch and support to meet the needs of the customer. ·       Must have strong written and verbal communications and presentation skills. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): ·       8 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience  ·       Experience working with 14 CFR Part 25 regulations ·       Experience with structural design principles for aircraft primary structures (e.g., fatigue, damage tolerance, corrosion, stress analysis, statics, materials strength, material characteristics, and repair techniques). ·       Experience with engineering tools such as CATIA V5, ENOVIA, CMPRO. Experience in Model Based Definitions (MBD) in CATIA FTA workbench. ·       Experience in Airplane Design, Liaison Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering. ·       Well versed with Master Geometry elements and Parametric Design in CATIA. ·       Knowledge and

Key Responsibilities

1. Leverage Casting Expertise To Develop And Optimize Design Solutions Using Cad Software, Ensuring That Products Exhibit User-Friendliness And Align With User Expectations, Thereby Creating Seamless User Experiences.
2. Lead A Team Of Designers In Casting And Product Design, Providing Mentorship And Ensuring The Delivery Of High-Quality Design Solutions That Align With Overall Business Goals.
3. Present Design Concepts Utilizing Advanced Casting Techniques And Materials, Playing A Crucial Role In Shaping The Overall Design Vision And Strategy.
4. Stay Abreast Of Industry Trends And Emerging Technologies In Casting And Product Design To Drive Innovation And Excellence In The Design Process.

Skill Requirements

1. Advanced Proficiency In Cad Software With A Focus On Casting Applications.
2. Strong Understanding Of Casting Processes And Materials Used In Product Design.
3. Excellent Leadership And Team Management Skills To Guide Design Teams Effectively.
4. In-Depth Knowledge Of Design Principles And User Experience Best Practices.
5. Capability To Analyze And Integrate Industry Trends Into Design Strategies.

Other Requirements

1. Optional But Valuable Certifications: Certified Solidworks Professional (Cswp), Autodesk Certified Professional In Inventor.
2. Relevant Certifications In Design Or Casting Technologies Are Advantageous.
