Senior Design Lead Harness Electrical Cabling and Packaging

Job Summary

The Senior Design Lead will be responsible for overseeing the design of Harness, Electrical Cabling & Packaging, and Creo Schematics. The primary objective is to lead and manage the development of innovative and efficient designs in these areas, ensuring they meet industry standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the design process for harness, electrical cabling, and packaging projects from concept to completion.
2. Collaborate with cross functional teams to define design requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
3. Develop detailed schematics and drawings using creo schematics software.
4. Conduct design reviews, identify potential issues, and provide solutions to optimize designs.
5. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in harness, electrical cabling, and packaging technology.
6. Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance and support when needed.
7. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design processes and efficiency.

Skill Requirements

1. Proven experience in designing harness, electrical cabling, and packaging systems.
2. Proficiency in using creo schematics software for creating detailed electrical schematics.
3. Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to harness and cabling design.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot design issues effectively.
5. Advanced communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
6. Leadership abilities to guide and motivate a team towards achieving project objectives.
7. Detail oriented mindset with a focus on quality and accuracy in design work.

Other Requirements

1.Relevant certifications in Electrical Engineering or Product Design will be a plus.
