Senior Design Lead PCB Design Tool, Board Design

Job Summary

The Senior Design Lead will be responsible for overseeing design verification & validation, PCB Design Tool, and test/interface/uc board design. The primary focus will be on leading the design team, ensuring the successful verification and validation of designs, utilizing PCB design tools effectively, and designing test/interface/uc boards.

Key Responsibilities

Key Qualifications 

• B.S. EE or CS (or similar) with 3+ years of experience, basic knowledge of EE circuits is must.

• Extensive knowledge with popular LLMs such as Gemini, Claude, and GPT etc

• Ability to develop AI skills/agents focusing on Electrical design and test to assist in DFT automation.

• Prior experience of developing MacOS Apps and web based tools, and interfacing to various MCPs and data servers.

• Partner with hardware DRIs to define AI product features and scope.

• Implement efficient data handling and telemetry pipelines from station systems

• Collaborate with HW, FW, and station SW teams to ensure accurate data capture and interpretation

• Good oral & written communication skills - be able to communicate complex engineering concepts clearly and concisely to various cross functional teams and leadership.

Skill Requirements

Preferred Qualifications 

• Basic understanding analog, digital, and power electronics hardware architectures and design

• Knows basics of schematic design using Allegro or a similar CAD tool

• Basic knowledge of USB 3.2, USB-PD, Display Port, PCIe, I2C, SPI technologies and protocols,and design.

• Prior technical leadership and/or project management experience

Other Requirements

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
