Job Summary

The Senior Design Lead plays a critical role in overseeing multiple design teams focused on reliability analysis, specifically in Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF). This position is essential for setting organizational design standards and driving innovation in the design process to ensure that design efforts significantly contribute to achieving business objectives. The Senior Design Lead will influence the quality and reliability of products, ensuring they meet user expectations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Utilize Reliability Analysis Methodologies To Evaluate And Enhance Product Designs, Ensuring That Mtbf Metrics Are Optimized For Improved Performance And Longevity.
2. Lead A Team Of Designers In The Implementation Of Reliability-Focused Design Solutions, Facilitating The Integration Of Reliability Principles Into The Design Process To Meet Business Objectives.
3. Present And Communicate Design Concepts That Incorporate Reliability Aspects, Actively Contributing To The Overall Design Vision And Strategy While Ensuring Alignment With Organizational Goals.
4. Research And Apply Industry Trends, Emerging Technologies, And Best Practices In Reliability Analysis To Foster Innovation And Maintain Design Excellence Within The Teams.
5. Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams To Ensure That Design Specifications Incorporate Reliability Requirements, Aligning With Safety, Maintainability, And Warranty Considerations.

Skill Requirements

1. Strong Understanding Of Reliability Analysis Principles, Specifically Mean Time Between Failures (Mtbf).
2. In-Depth Knowledge Of Design Processes And Methodologies In The Context Of Reliability Engineering.
3. Familiarity With Design Tools And Software Used In Reliability Analysis And Design Evaluation.
4. Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills To Effectively Guide Design Teams And Present Concepts To Stakeholders.
5. Proficient In Analyzing Data And Metrics To Inform Design Decisions Related To Reliability And User Experience.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
