Job Summary

Structural Design

  • Designed mechanical and structural components using Creo with a focus on manufacturability, durability, and cost efficiency.
  • Performed structural analysis including stress, strain, fatigue, and modal evaluations using FEA tools e.g., ANSYS
  • Led design reviews, identified design risks, and implemented corrective actions to improve reliability.

Mechanical Assembly

  • Oversaw assembly of prototypes, sub‑assemblies, and full mechanical systems, ensuring alignment with engineering specifications.
  • Collaborated with manufacturing teams to optimize assembly processes and resolve build issues.
  • Created assembly instructions, BOMs, and work instructions to support production readiness.
  • Implemented design-for-assembly (DFA) improvements to reduce build time and increase consistency.

Testing & Validation

  • Planned and executed structural & functional to validate mechanical performance.
  • Developed test procedures, instrumentation setups, and data‑acquisition strategies.
  • Analyzed test data, identified root causes of failures, and recommended design modifications.
  • Coordinated with quality and reliability teams to ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.

  • Delivered multiple structural designs that passed qualification testing reducing development cycle time.
  • Improved assembly efficiency by implementing design changes that cut build time

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
