Job Summary
Senior design engineer shall have good knowledge in electrical component selection, PCBA verification, product level verification and knowledge in change management.
Key Responsibilities
- Gain knowledge on Olympus products and business processes.
- Understand the SOP for major verification operations.
- Receive hands-on training with actual products by conducting verifications.
- Learn about the OMSC laboratory equipment, lab maintenance, equipment calibration, and lab control processes through on-the-job training and transfer this knowledge offshore for lab setup preparation.
- Acquire knowledge on the entire flow of change management as outlined by the SOP and receive on-the-job training in implementing change control, including how to respond to changes and later members will be able to carry out their duties independently.
- Gain experience with OMSC Quality Management System (QMS), Product Development Lifecycle Management (PDLM), and Change Control Management (CCM) processes through on-the-job training.
- Perform tasks related to design changes:
- Design change test impact analysis.
- Design change implementation.
- Verification plan preparation.
- Verification at system, sub-system, and product levels.
- Preparation of verification protocols and reports.
