Job Summary
Radar Signal Processing Engineer
We are building a team to take Radar Signal Processing algorithms from reference form to production-quality embedded software for deployment on automotive platforms. This team owns the entire processing pipeline from antenna data-capture to point-cloud generation.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert radar signal-processing algorithm reference implementations (e.g., MATLAB/python models) into optimized, production-quality embedded C-code
- Deploy the implementation onto a heterogeneous platform/ SoC with ARM/ DSP and HW accelerators for real-time operation
- Optimize the signal-processing chain for speed, memory and power-consumption to achieve the desired performance
- Validate the implementation against the algorithm reference
- Prepare technical documentation and verification reports.
- Collaborate with algorithm and platform-bringup teams.
Skill Requirements
- A bachelor's or master’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics, computer science, signal processing, embedded systems or related fields
- Strong proficiency in Matlab and Simulink.
- Expert programming skills in C/C++, conforming to MISRA-C guidelines
- Solid understanding of DSP concepts such as FFT, filters, radar-processing fundamentals, MIMO processing, detection and estimation
- Experience on heterogenous-core SoCs with ARM/DSP and HW accelerators
- Familiarity with embedded-system operations such as DMA, IPC, floating-point to fixed-point conversions, caching, zero-copy data movement
- Expertise in optimization techniques leveraging DSP architecture such as VLIW/SIMD
- Experience in MIPI CSI-2 and ethernet interfacing
- Exposure to RTOS as well as bare-metal programming
- Familiarity with unit-testing frameworks, Python scripting and version control
Other Requirements
- Experience with radar algorithm/implementation or related fields in ADAS applications
- Good understanding of FMCW, beamforming and noise estimation
- Knowledge of ASPICE engineering processes and tools, functional safety ISO-26262 and documentation standards such as UML
