Job Summary

  • Strong experience in Mechanical Design Engineering with hands-on expertise in product design and development.
  • Proficient in Sheet Metal Design, including design optimization for manufacturability, cost reduction, and production efficiency.
  • Experienced in Power Distribution Unit (PDU) Enclosure Design through close collaboration with cross-functional electrical engineering teams.
  • Skilled in end-to-end product development, including requirements gathering, concept design, detailed engineering, prototype integration, validation, and testing.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, including sheet metal fabrication, welding, machining, and assembly techniques.
  • Experienced in preparing Bills of Materials (BOMs), manufacturing drawings, and engineering documentation in accordance with industry standards.
  • Hands-on experience with Windchill and other Product Data Management (PDM) systems for product lifecycle and configuration management.
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), tolerance stack-up analysis, and design for manufacturing principles.
  • Experienced in Engineering Change Request (ECR) and Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes, as well as mechanical hardware and component selection.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex engineering challenges, coordinate cross-functional activities, and make sound technical decisions.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills, with proven experience mentoring and guiding engineers to achieve project objectives.
