Job Summary
OMS Engineer
Education BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering Experience: 3 to 6 years
• Industrial experience in creating assembly work instruction / Technical Illustration/ Production planning/ Process planning.
• Shop floor experience on leading assembly lines. Working Experience in Clean Room will be an added advantage.
• Troubleshoot/Address build issues on shop floor, guide operators/technicians on assembly procedure.
• Good understanding of Workmanship Standards.
• Good manufacturing & assembly knowledge to explain the component assembly procedure.
• Good knowledge on usage of special assembly tools, jigs and fixtures.
• Good knowledge of Ergonomic tools used on assembly floor and the safety measures & precautions to be used.
• Basic knowledge on Poke-Yoke (Mistake or Error Proofing) method.
• Basic knowledge on wire Harness & Schematic to create OMS related to cables, routing etc.
• Working knowledge of Unigraphics and Teamcenter.
• Good communication and presentation skill.
Key Responsibilities
2. Develop Prototypes And Proof-Of-Concept Implementations Using Cad Software To Validate Design Decisions And Iterate Based On Feedback.
3. Mentor And Guide Junior Designers By Sharing Knowledge And Expertise In 2D Drawing Methodologies Through Training Sessions And Comprehensive Documentation.
4. Work With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Engineering And Project Management, To Ensure That The 2D Designs Align With Overall Project Goals And Technical Specifications.
5. Collaborate With Quality Assurance Teams To Establish And Maintain High-Quality Standards In Design Deliverables, Utilizing Feedback Loops To Drive Continuous Improvement.
Skill Requirements
2. Familiarity With Engineering Change Management Processes And Its Impact On Design Documentation.
3. Basic Knowledge Of Documentation Practices, Ensuring Accuracy And Accessibility Of Design Files And Records.
