Job Summary

Test Tool Technician will support the V&V Hardware Operations team by assembling, validating, and deploying test tool environments for vehicle simulation and display virtualization. The role involves hands-on hardware integration, troubleshooting, and operational support to ensure timely delivery of test benches

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and integrate test benches, ECUs, and patch harnesses
  • Procure, assemble, configure, validate, and deploy test tool environments. 
  • Perform hardware flashing, configuration, and validation
  • Troubleshoot test bench and hardware issues via JIRA tickets
  • Support deployment and distribution of test environments
  • Maintain inventory of ECUs, harnesses, tools, and lab consumables.
  • Support asset tracking, audits, and logistics activities

Skill Requirements

  • Test bench assembly and hardware integration
  • ECU setup, flashing, and debugging
  • Schematic/wiring interpretation
  • Use of lab instruments (DMM, oscilloscope)
  • JIRA / Agile workflow
  • Lab safety, ESD, and 5S practices
  • Automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) added advantage

Other Requirements

Diploma / Bachelor’s in Electronics, Electrical, Automotive, or related field with 2–5 years of experience in hardware testing or test bench environments
Maximum Salary (US):  95000
Minimum Salary (US):  62000

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
