Job Summary

As a Senior PCB Designer, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, innovative designs that align with project objectives and customer specifications. Your expertise in Allegro PCB will be vital in collaborating with various stakeholders, refining design requirements, and ensuring that prototypes meet the intended design vision. This role emphasizes a balance between technical proficiency and mentoring, as you guide junior designers while contributing to a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborate With Stakeholders To Understand And Refine Design Requirements Using Allegro Pcb, Ensuring Designs Meet Project And Customer Specifications.
2. Develop Prototypes And Proof-Of-Concept Implementations Utilizing Allegro Pcb And Cad Software To Validate Design Decisions And Address Potential Challenges.
3. Mentor Junior Designers By Sharing Knowledge And Expertise Through Training Sessions And Creating Comprehensive Documentation On Best Practices In Pcb Design.
4. Work Closely With Cross-Functional Teams To Align Software Design With Overall Project Goals, Employing Allegro Pcb For Effective Communication And Integration Of Design Elements.
5. Partner With Quality Assurance Teams To Establish And Maintain High-Quality Design Outputs, Conducting Thorough Reviews And Implementing Necessary Adjustments In The Allegro Pcb Environment.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficient In Allegro Pcb With Strong Knowledge Of Cad Software.
2. Strong Understanding Of Pcb Design Principles And Standards.
3. Good Experience In Prototyping And Proof-Of-Concept Implementations.
4. Familiarity With Quality Assurance Processes In Design.
5. Basic Knowledge Of Industry Best Practices And Documentation Techniques.

Other Requirements

1. Optional But Valuable Certifications: Ipc Designer Certification, Ipc-2221 Standards For Pcb Design.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
