Job Summary
The Senior Designer specializing in c,Creo/ProE,Sheet Metal Design will be responsible for creating innovative designs using Creo/ProE software specifically for sheet metal components. The primary focus will be on developing functional and cost-effective designs that meet the project requirements and quality standards.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in New Product Development (NPD) / New Product Introduction (NPI)
• Strong background in electromechanical product design
• Exposure to semiconductor products (good to have)
• Experience in sheet metal and machined part design
• Proficiency in 3D concept development and 2D detailed engineering drawings
• Experience with engineering change management
• Hands-on experience handling large and complex assemblies
• Knowledge of refractory materials
• Familiarity with FMEA and DFX methodologies
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and welding techniques
• Good understanding of plating, coatings, and surface finish requirements
• Experience in BOM preparation, manufacturing drawings, and adherence to drawing standards
Must Have Skills:
• Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering background
• Hands-on experience with Creo and Windchill PLM
• Strong understanding of ECO/ECN change management processes
• Working knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis
Key Responsibilities
2. Develop detailed 3d models and 2d drawings for manufacturing and assembly.
3. Collaborate within team to ensure design feasibility, functionality, and cost-effectiveness.
4. Conduct design reviews and make necessary modifications based on feedback and analysis.
5. Work closely with vendors and suppliers to select appropriate materials and finishes for sheet metal parts.
6. Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements related to c, creo/proe, and sheet metal design.
7. Ensure all designs comply with regulatory standards and quality guidelines.
