Job Summary

EXP 4-5 years

Position Specific Duties - Execute CAD modeling & drafting (Creo) for cost reduction projects; support VE concept development and manufacturability improvements; work on sheet metal, fabrication, casting, and basic plastic components; apply DFMA-based design optimizations and cost inputs; support design changes, drawings, and documentation; collaborate with VEVI and cross-functional teams for project execution.

 

Key Responsibilities

Required Skills are- Creo modeling, assembly & drafting with GD&T; knowledge of VE/CR, DFMA & basic should-costing; manufacturing expertise in sheet metal, fabrication, casting (plastics basics); basic FEA understanding; Excel, BOM & documentation skills; experience in CAD data management and design change support.

Skill Requirements

1. Strong Understanding Of Casting Processes And Techniques.
2. Proficiency In Cad Software For Product Design And Prototype Development.
3. Good Knowledge Of Design Principles And Methodologies.
4. Familiarity With Quality Assurance Practices In Design And Manufacturing.

Other Requirements

1. Optional But Valuable Certifications: Certified Solidworks Professional (Cswp), Autodesk Certified Professional.
