Job Summary

We are looking for Mechanical Design Engineer whose mission to provide the Design technical solutions according to given prerequisites (e.g., function, style, volume, geometry, costs, quality target and regulations) in mechanical areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Design and develop activities for Mechanical components
• Innovative mindset and development of vehicles structures based on BEV / ICE / alternate energy propulsion systems.
• Perform Engineering calculations, Virtual simulations, Packaging study for proposed solutions.
• Driving design proposals/solutions cross functionally within GTX organization & secure agreements.
• Lead Technical discussion with supplier / proto part development, fitment trial & Cross-functional sign off
• Engineering documentation of drawings, technical requirement, functional specification and managing change
•  Follow-up technical solution and take corrective actions if needed.
• Work closely with cross functional teams to anticipate process steps and risks and propose mitigation plans.
• Coach &/or mentor peers on technical topics

Skill Requirements

• High customer and business focus
• Strong Product Knowledge
• Extensive Knowledge on complete vehicle and Truck architecture
• Strong knowledge of KOLA (PDM tool) will be added advantage
• Experience in technical feasibility studies in collaboration with partners is a merit
• Hands-on work experience required with structural design background, being analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Good knowledge of application of GD&T

Other Requirements

1.Professional certifications in Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DFMA), CAD Design Skills, or Creo are a plus, complete vehicle installation chassis
