Senior Designer - Sheet Metal, DFMA, Creo

Job Summary

The Senior Designer will be responsible for sheet metal design, Design for Manufacture & Assembly (DFMA), and utilizing Creo/ProE software. The primary focus will be on creating efficient and optimized designs for manufacturing and assembly processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop detailed sheet metal designs based on project requirements.
2. Implement design for manufacture & assembly (dfma) principles to optimize production processes.
3. Utilize creo/proe software to create 3d models, assemblies, and detailed drawings.
4. Collaborate within team to ensure design feasibility and alignment with project goals.
5. Conduct analysis and testing to validate design concepts and performance.
6. Provide technical support during manufacturing and assembly phases.
7. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to sheet metal design.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in sheet metal design techniques and practices.
2. Strong understanding of design for manufacture & assembly (dfma) principles.
3. Advanced knowledge of creo/proe software for 3d modeling and drafting.
4. Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment.
5. Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
6. Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality designs within project timelines.

Other Requirements

1.Relevant certifications in Sheet Metal Design, DFMA, or Creo/ProE are a plus.
Maximum Salary (US):  110000
Minimum Salary (US):  72000

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
