Job Summary

Job Description:  

  Position: Electrical/Mechanical Engineer

Tool:  AutoCAD, Creo, Solidworks, ENOVIA, VISIO, ORCAD / Altium

Experience: 8 to 12

Visa Requirement: Valid H1/L1 not less than 8months

 

Qualification: B.E. / B. Tech in Electrical /Mechanical Engineering.  

  

Job Description: 

·       8 - 12 YRS of experience in Electrical/Mechanical Design and development lifecycle. 

·       Experience in Electrical system Architecture design, wiring design, harness design 

·       Must have worked through the development cycle & should have thorough knowledge on wiring & harness component selection. 

·       Must have experience in preparation of manufacturing BOM. 

·       Electrical Wiring and harness drafting standards. 

·      Experience on Electrical Load and Power source analysis (AC, DC & Battery). 

· Experience in preparation of electrical wiring continuity schedule & functional schedules. 

·       Should be able to understand System Architecture using IO List for Industrial Equipment. 

·       Knowledge in PLC Programming. 

·       Able to select Electrical and Electronics components like Circuit breaker, contactors, relays, connectors, wire/cable, PLC, Sensors etc and Equivalent replacement for EOL parts.  

·       Understand Thermal Management, safety and communication requirements of Electrical Panels and Equipment. 

·       End User knowledge of PLM related to generation of part numbers and Engineering changes. 

·       Very good knowledge in Manufacturing process. 

·       Worked on addressing Engineering change notifications and implementing changes on large Assemblies. Using Teamcenter ECR/ECO/ECN.

·    Coordination with Offshore team.

·   Cable Routing procedures Review and Validation

·   Cable installation and Audit on the machines

 

  

Desired Characteristics 

·       Good oral and written communication skills  

·       Knowledge in Control system / components/ Systems.   

·       Good level of understanding in Cable manufacturing processes. 

·       Good level of understanding in PCB design using ORCAD / Altium is an added advantage. 

Key Responsibilities

1. To work closely with stakeholders to understand and refine design requirements.
2. To develop prototypes and proof-of-concept implementations to validate design decisions.
3. To mentor junior designers ,share knowledge and expertise through training sessions and documentation.
4. To collaborate with cross functional teams and other stakeholders to align software design with overall project goals.
5. To work with quality assurance teams to establish and maintain high-quality.

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
