Job Summary
Field Service Engineer – Level 1 (Installation & Setup Support)
Eligibility Criteria
- Diploma / Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Mechatronics or related technical discipline
- 1–3 years of experience in Manufacturing / Field Service / EMS industry
- Basic exposure to equipment installation, assembly, or maintenance activities
- Good English communication skills (spoken & written)
- Strong willingness to learn, adapt, and work in challenging environments
Key Responsibilities
- Support tool roll-in, positioning, and installation activities at customer sites
- Perform cabling and connection of utilities (Electrical, Gas, Water, CDA, Exhaust)
- Assist in equipment setup, leveling, and alignment
- Follow installation procedures, checklists, and safety guidelines
- Support senior engineers during:
- Tool hookup
- Initial power-on
- Basic functional checks
- Ensure proper routing and securing of cables and utility lines
- Maintain installation logs, checklists, and documentation
- Adhere strictly to EHS & cleanroom protocols
- Demonstrate positive attitude, discipline, and readiness to work hard in project environments

Key Technical Skills
- Basic understanding of:
- Electromechanical systems
- Electrical wiring & connections
- Mechanical assembly & alignment
- Knowledge of:
- Tool roll-in, positioning, and installation practices
- Utility connections:
- Electrical power
- Gas lines
- Water / cooling systems
- Familiar with:
- Hand tools, torque tools, and basic measurement tools
- Safety standards and EHS practices
- Advantage:
- Exposure to semiconductor / industrial equipment installation
- Ability to read basic drawings, layouts, and schematics
