Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced ECAD professional with deep PCB design expertise to help advance our workflow methodology through AI/ML-driven automation. In this role, you will design, prototype, and deploy intelligent tooling that accelerates PCB workflows, including automated PCB placement, SoC fanout automation, and the development of a digital-twin representation of PCB board data. You will combine strong PCB domain knowledge with practical AI/ML development skills to transform how boards are placed, routed, and represented.
Key Responsibilities
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard ECAD tools for both schematic capture and PCB layout (e.g., Cadence Allegro/OrCAD, Mentor/Siemens Xpedition, Altium).
- Demonstrated working knowledge of schematic design, including constraint management and electrical verification workflows.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of PCB design, including component placement, SoC fanout/routing, and board data structures.
- Practical AI/ML development experience (Python and common ML frameworks such as PyTorch), including building and integrating models into real workflows.
- Familiarity with agentic AI / LLM-based automation concepts and their application to engineering workflows.
- Experience automating or accelerating design workflows, including release and data-management processes.
- Ability to translate domain expertise into automated, scalable tooling.
Skill Requirements
Customer is looking for Senior developers to augment their ECAD workflow development team with coding experts and with mid-level knowledge on PCBs. Focus is on coding, tools scripting to agentic level.
Other Requirements
- Candidates should have strong coding and AI/ML expertise, along with a moderate level of ECAD/PCB knowledge.
-
India Location is not a constraint, provided there is sufficient overlap with US Pacific Time (1-2 hrs).
-
During the initial month, engineers will need to work US hours until they are fully ramped up and self-sufficient.
