Senior Designer

Job Summary

•  Experience in NPD (New product design and development of Plastic Component) - Concept Creation, Detail Design, Modelling & Drawing using CAD tool (Solidworks/Catia).

•  Knowledge of Manufacturing process (Plastics and Sheet metal).

•  Knowledge of DFM & DFX for plastic parts.

•  Knowledge of GD&T.

•  Knowledge of PDM/PLM tools and BOMs & item master theory.

•  Knowledge of Cross-cultural communications.

•  Good abilities of Coordination activities.

•  Knowledge of Drafting and modelling and assembly in Solidworks.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•  Create drawings, 3D models of Plastic / Sheet metal components using SolidWorks and update designs per mark-ups.

•  Work with global teams to design and create drawings for sub systems / systems of components.

Skill Requirements

Experience Required : 5 - 8 years

Tools and Skill required : SolidWorks , Plastics Component Design and Development
