Senior Developer - Manufacturing Process

Job Summary

  • Mechanical/ Manufacturing engineer (BE/BTech) with 3-5 Years of experience in Manufacturing Processes 
  • Lean Manufacturing Process
  • Testing and Process validations 
  • Fixtures development

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and document assembly processes using Lean Manufacturing methodologies. This will include complete documentation of the sequence of operation, standard times, material layout  quality checks and process documentation.
  • Coordinate with supplier for test equipment that will be designed to test products assembled on the  bench
  • Qualify the test process with the supplier to assure the test process is robust verifying function and assuring no quality escapes
  • Document the complete test process 
  • Training technicians on assembly and test  process. Validate technicians on competency to assembly & test process

Skill Requirements

  • Strong Understanding Of Manufacturing Process Planning Principles And Practices. 
  • Knowledge of lean processes , assembly to TAKT time
  • Knowledge of bench build layout based on lean methodologies
  • Ability to generate sequence of operations, 
  • Monitor process and identify standard hours
  • Identify opportunities to reduce assembly time and confirm no quality or assembly issues with any proposed changes
  • Ability to generate project plan and monitor status. Recovery plans if required
  • Ability to generate method instructions
  • Ability to train technicians and validate on assembly & test process

Maximum Salary (US):  105000
Minimum Salary (US):  68000

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
