Job Summary

This role is responsible for supporting the development and enhancement of analog circuit designs within assigned projects. The position focuses on maintaining existing designs, troubleshooting issues, and performing enhancements based on requirements from the business and technical teams. The individual collaborates within the team to ensure deliverables meet quality, time, and cost objectives, and is expected to demonstrate strong understanding and practical application of analog circuit design methodologies and tools.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintain and update analog circuit designs using industry-standard simulation tools (e.g., SPICE), ensuring functionality and adherence to project specifications.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues in analog circuits by applying solid knowledge of circuit analysis and debugging techniques.
3. Support enhancement requests and minor feature developments by implementing changes in analog schematic layouts via EDA tools such as Cadence or Mentor Graphics.
4. Participate in team-based code reviews and provide relevant feedback on analog circuit implementations and documentation.
5. Create and maintain technical documentation related to analog circuit design processes and enhancements, complying with project and organizational standards.
6. Collaborate within the team to gather technical requirements, clarify design objectives, and monitor scheduled progress for assigned development tasks.

Skill Requirements

1. Strong understanding of analog circuit design fundamentals, including circuit analysis, simulation, and layout.
2. Practical experience with simulation and layout tools such as SPICE, Cadence, or Mentor Graphics.
3. Experience supporting debugging and troubleshooting activities in analog design environments.
4. Good knowledge of documentation practices for circuit design and enhancement tracking.
5. Familiarity with version control systems and process compliance documentation.

Other Requirements

1. Optional but valuable: Cadence Certified Design Engineer (CCDE), Mentor Graphics Certification in Analog Design.
