Job Summary

The Senior C Developer is responsible for developing and delivering high-quality code in line with project specifications and timelines. This role is critical to ensuring that software solutions meet business needs while adhering to quality and cost standards. The Senior Developer will also play a key role in troubleshooting, enhancing existing features, and providing technical guidance to junior team members.

Good understanding of Windows and Unix/Linux platforms, including server and application restart/reboot activities, application upgrade & vulnerability mitigation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Troubleshoot And Resolve Bugs In Existing C Applications, Ensuring The Stability And Performance Of Software Solutions.
2. Maintain And Enhance Existing Features By Implementing Improvements Based On Client Requirements And Technical Specifications, Utilizing C And Linux Environments.
3. Provide Technical Support To Clients By Analyzing Requirements, Presenting Data, And Resolving Tickets Effectively To Ensure Client Satisfaction.
4. Develop And Document Enhancement Processes According To Cmmi Standards, Ensuring That All Requirements Are Met For Both Client And Internal Specifications.
5. Mentor Junior Developers By Providing Technical Guidance And Support, Helping Them To Improve Their Skills In C Programming And System Software Development.
6. Collaborate With Customers And Internal Teams To Gather Project Requirements, Ensuring Alignment Between Development Efforts And Business Objectives.

Skill Requirements

1. Strong Understanding Of C Programming And Familiarity With Linux Operating Systems.
2. Basic Knowledge Of Sql For Database Interaction And Data Management.
3. Experience In Troubleshooting And Debugging Applications Built In C.
4. Good Understanding Of Software Development Processes And Methodologies.
5. Familiarity With Cmmi Standards And Documentation Practices.

Other Requirements

1. Optional But Valuable: Certification In C Programming Or Related Fields, Such As Certified Software Development Professional (Csdp).
