Job Summary

The Senior Harness Developer plays a crucial role in the development and enhancement of harness design software solutions. This position is essential for ensuring that deliverables meet quality, cost, and timeline standards. The role involves collaboration with clients and internal teams to understand requirements, troubleshoot issues, and support ongoing improvements in harness development.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintain And Enhance Existing Harness Design Features By Troubleshooting Bugs And Resolving Ad-Hoc Requests, Ensuring Alignment With Business Requirements And Quality Standards.
2. Provide Client Support Through Data Presentation, Ticket Resolution, And Daily Monitoring Of Client Requirements, Ensuring Timely Delivery Of Assigned Tasks While Adhering To Defined Quality Metrics.
3. Create And Maintain Documentation In Compliance With Cmmi Standards And Client Requirements, Facilitating Accurate Communication And Project Tracking.
4. Offer Technical Guidance And Mentorship To Junior Developers In Harness Design And Implementation, Fostering Knowledge Sharing And Skill Development Within The Team.
5. Collaborate With Customers And Internal Teams To Gather And Analyze Requirements For New Harness Development Projects, Ensuring Accurate Understanding And Execution Of Client Needs.

Skill Requirements

1. Strong Understanding Of Harness Design Principles And Standards.
2. Experience With Electrical Cabling And Schematics Relevant To Harness Development.
3. Familiarity With 3D Routing Software And Techniques.
4. Basic Knowledge Of Power Distribution Systems In Relation To Harness Design.
5. Proficient In Electro-Mechanical Packaging Considerations Pertinent To Harness Applications.

Other Requirements

1. Optional But Valuable Certifications: Ipc/Whma-A-620 Certification For Wire Harness Assembly, Cmmi Associate Certification.
