Senior Developer - Embedded C, Python

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Embedded Software Developer to design, develop, integrate, and verify embedded software solutions for safety-critical and real-time systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in embedded programming, model-based development, software integration, and testing throughout the software development lifecycle. The role involves working closely with systems, hardware, and verification teams to deliver high-quality, reliable, and compliant software solutions while adhering to industry standards and development processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain embedded software components using C/C++ and model-based development tools such as SCADE/Simulink.
  • Analyze system and software requirements, and implement solutions in compliance with coding and quality standards.
  • Perform unit testing, debugging, and integration testing to ensure software reliability and performance.
  • Support software build, integration, and configuration management activities across the development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with systems, verification, and hardware teams to resolve technical issues and achieve project milestones.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, peer reviews, and compliance activities for safety-critical software development.

Skill Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of embedded systems, RTOS concepts, and communication protocols (CAN, SPI, I2C, UART).
  • Experience with version control, static analysis, and test automation tools.
  • Familiarity with aerospace/automotive development standards such as DO-178C, DO-331, or ISO 26262 is an added advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
