Job Summary

The Senior Embedded Linux Developer plays a crucial role in the development and maintenance of software solutions, focusing on Embedded Linux systems. This position is instrumental in delivering high-quality code that meets client requirements and adheres to project timelines and cost standards. By leveraging technical expertise in Embedded Linux, the developer ensures that enhancements and troubleshooting support are provided effectively, contributing to overall project success.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintain And Enhance Existing Software Features By Troubleshooting Bugs And Resolving Ad-Hoc Requests, Utilizing Embedded Linux And Associated Tools To Deliver Solutions That Align With Business And Client Requirements.
2. Provide Client Support Through Data Presentation, Ticket Resolution, And Daily Activities, Including Monitoring Client Requirements And Tracking Project Schedules To Ensure Timely Delivery Of Tasks While Adhering To Defined Quality Standards.
3. Create And Maintain Comprehensive Documentation For Project Enhancements And Ensure Compliance With Cmmi Standards, Reflecting Both Client Requirements And Technical Specifications.
4. Offer Technical Guidance And Support To Junior Developers In The Team, Fostering Knowledge Sharing And Adherence To Best Practices In Embedded Linux Development.
5. Collaborate With Customers And Internal Teams To Gather And Analyze Requirements For Development Purposes, Ensuring A Thorough Understanding Of Project Needs And Objectives.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficient Understanding Of Embedded Linux And Its Development Ecosystem.
2. Solid Experience With C/C++ Programming For Embedded Applications.
3. Familiarity With Version Control Systems, Particularly Git.
4. Basic Knowledge Of Software Development Methodologies And Best Practices.
5. Experience In Troubleshooting And Debugging Within An Embedded Linux Environment.

Other Requirements

1. Optional But Valuable Certifications: Certified Embedded Systems Engineer (Cese), Linux Professional Institute Certification (Lpic).
