Senior Developer - Post Silicon Validation

Job Summary

DC Lab Technician

Responsibilities
● Troubleshooting failures in a Linux environment with hardware focus.
● Deployment, configuration, and sustenance of servers and storage in DC racks
Retrofit server components.
● Secure handling of media devices throughout DC life cycle of media
● Work with partner teams within DC to fix issues
Schedule and perform maintenance including upgrades, migrations, and
decommissioning of production networks.
Support the development, testing and integration of new Server/Storage hardware
platforms
Participate in an on-call rotation.
Minimum Qualifications
● 6+ years of related work experience responsible for deployment, configuration of
Servers / Storage platforms in large Linux based Data Center environments
● Experience configuring and troubleshooting Servers and Storage hardware platforms.
● Hands on experience with Linux tools used for troubleshooting failures.
● Working knowledge of connectivity of Servers, Storage, network and Power supply,
Battery Backup unit in large Data Center environments
● Experience working with server hardware in a multi-vendor environment.
● Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and deliver against mission
critical deadlines.
● Proven ability to work in fast-paced global team environments and solve problems
with limited supervision.
● Ability to lift/move 30-40 pounds on a daily basis.
● 10% of travel, up to 30% based on projects.
● Experience with scripting and automation (Bash, Python, Perl) for day to day process
improvements

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
