EMC Design and Test Engineer with wireless and Cisco products experience
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute EMC and RF test plans for emissions, immunity, and susceptibility.
- Perform EMC debugging to identify and resolve design issues effectively.
- Complete design recommendations, design reviews, and design validation activities.
- Collaborate with design teams to integrate EMC considerations early in the product lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with standards such as FCC Part 15, CISPR 22/32, IEC 61000 series, and many country and industry standards.
- Document test results and support certification processes.
Skill Requirements
- Familiarity with Cisco equipment including switching, routing, and wireless technologies.
- Understanding of Cisco procurement and qualification processes.

This role supports product reliability and compliance in demanding network environments, leveraging strong EMC debugging and validation skills alongside proficiency with key RF test equipment.
Other Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in EMC design and RF testing with strong EMC debug skills.
- Proficiency with test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and signal generators.
- Knowledge of FCC Part 15, CISPR, IEC 61000-4, and various related country standards and deviations such as KCC, ISED, EN, etc.
- Knowledge of industry standards such as IEC 61850, EN 50155, and ECE R10.
- Knowledge of cellular standards such as 3GPP, PTCRB, GCF
- Familiar with hazardous location such as IEC 60079, ATEX, IECEx, CCC-Ex, and
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
