Education

• Degree, Post graduate in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent industry experience)

 

Experience

• Minimum 7 years of development  and design experience in Python API development and Integration of services
• Experience in creating Framework to create observable, sclable, Extensible applications and APIs
• Excellent knowledge on Micro Services and Mongo database and Data handling
• Hands on experience in performance tuning, debugging and monitoring
• Good exposure on all phases of software Development Life cycle
• Knowledge on microservices architecture,containerization, Dockers and Kubernetes is an added advantage

 

Technical Skills

• Extensive coding experience with Python (3.6 and above)  and the related database technologies like Mongo, Postgress etc.
• Hands on experience in rest API using flask , Django.
• Good expertise on integration of AI models, Multiprocessing , load balancing areas
• Good understanding of latest Python Frameworks and concurrency
• Well versed with CI/CD principles, and actively involved in solving, troubleshooting issues in distributed services ecosystem
• Familiar with Distributed services resiliency and monitoring in a production environment.

 

Functional Skills

• Experience in Banking, Financial and Fintech experience in an enterprise environment preferred
• Experience in following best Coding, Security, Unit testing and Documentation standards and practices
• Experience in Agile methodology.
• Ensure quality of technical and application architecture and design of systems across the organization.
• Effectively research and benchmark technology against other best in class technologies.

 

Soft Skills

• Able to influence multiple teams on technical considerations, increasing their productivity and effectiveness, by sharing  deep knowledge and experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. To maintain existing features, troubleshoot bugs , resolve ad-hoc requests and provide support for enhancement (major and minor) /new developments based on business/ client requirements as well as from the functional and technical team of HCL on the project.
2. To provide client support by presenting data, information, ticket resolution and day to day support activities like monitoring client requirements as well as keeping track of schedule for on time delivery of assigned tasks as per the defined quality standards.
3. To perform activities related to enhancement creation of documents for CMMi and client requirements
4. To provide technical guidance to junior developers
5. To interact with the customer and internal teams to gather requirements for development purposes.
