Job Summary
SAP Authorization Administrator (Cross-Application) to manage, support, and enhance enterprise-wide SAP authorizations.
The job role ensures compliant, secure, and efficient SAP role development across SAP S/4HANA landscapes, including GxP-validated environments, while supporting production operations, enhancements, and advising SAP application teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage SAP cross-application authorization processes across SAP systems, including design, build, and monitoring
- Provide end-to-end business support for SAP authorizations, incl. role issues and error handling
- Coordinate and perform 2nd-level support for SAP Authorizations in SAP environment, incl. SAP Fiori
- Analyze, design, and harmonize roles
- Support SAP Fiori Launchpad authorization concepts including catalogs, groups, spaces, and pages
- Ensure compliance with audit, guidelines and GxP requirements through proper role documentation and controls
- Support authorization role testing during implementations, upgrades, and release cycles
- Participate in SAP rollouts, upgrades, and security-related enhancement initiatives
- Collaborate with Basis and application teams to ensure secure and scalable role design
- Active participation and involvement in SAP authorization centralization project
Skill Requirements
- > 5 years of experience with role design and authorization concepts as part of SAP authorization management in SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori environments
- Experience in customization, implementation, and auditing of SAP authorization roles
- Strong troubleshooting skills for SAP authorization and access-related incidents
- Good understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes based on ITIL
- Experience working in GxP / GMP-regulated environments is desirable
- Strong collaboration skills with application teams and service providers
- Proactive, independent working style with high attention to security and compliance
- Very good written and spoken English skills; German language skills are an advantage
- Experience in agile and classical project delivery models
- Team player with the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and disciplines
- Ability to quickly understand complex processes and issues, with strong communication skills
- Knowledge and initial experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban is desirable
